The staff are friendly and welcoming, very attentive. We had sausages and mash with beer gravy, topped off with a giant onion ring. It was delicious, the sausages have a frankfurter taste with a gentle hit of pepper. The mash is smooth and tasty. Now, the gravy is amazing, rich with onion and beer. Price is very reasonable, excellent.
Went in on xmas eve and was busy as you'd expect. There was karaoke for the kids and everyone was having a great time. Prices acceptable. Well done. Will try again in the new year.
Always a great time. Great venue, family and dog friendly. Food is always delicious and the staff are always friendly and can't do enough for you.
We loved to come to the Cross Keys for drinks and were thrilled to find out the food was lovely! Until the menu change, which resulted in a drop in standards as for the last 3 visits we have been unable to order a full meal for 3 people from the limited menu. They seem to be short of essential items such as pizza bases and certain chips. Massively disappointed as it was becoming our favourite place in basset.
