Nice place. Food excellent. Room was basic but clean and warm. Staff were very friendly and the breakfast was outstanding. Would have no problems staying here again
The food took a lot Ng to me to come out and some was cold. Though it was of a good quality.
Christmas Day.Would love to give a 4 star but the wait between starter, main meal and desert was 3 hours and after the starter I had to ask them to take our plates away and again after our main we were completely forgotten about hence the 3 hour wait. service was terrible and we were squashed in like sardines but overall the food quality is excellent.Tables needed to be spaced out more.On a lighter note I have eaten here on several occasions and the food is consistent and of good quality.Another niggle is they never asked if everything was ok when leaving to me this is paramount to any business particularly if your in the food Industry and this is the only reason for this review.
Lovely food and atmosphere. I would of gave them five stars, I have been there on a few occasions and always have the same order on this occasion they served me with what I didn't order when I pointed this out to them they said I did order it, so I recommend you ask to see what the waitress as written down or be accused of ordering the wrong meal.
We had Xmas dinner here last year which was lush hence why we returned. This time not so good. The pub/restuarant was packed, there were not enough staff serving, service rather slow. Fish pie was nice but portion enormous. Apart from fish pie, meals could have been warmer. Shame as have always been very reliable in the past!
