Visited with my daughter and grandchildren. The Tea Room maybe small but you get a big welcome from the friendly staff. The warm cheeses scone was lovely but the Lemon Cake was out of this world! Full of lemony taste, light and gorgeous!! Will definitely recommend to everyone, and I shall certainly be returning again and again.
Lovely coffee & home made cake in a gorgeous setting. The walk from here is very pretty, through the woods then round the lake.
Arrived to find the place full of people who had finished eating and drinking, and were just sat talking at the tables.Staff saw us waiting outside but they made no attempt to free up any tables or to tell us how long we would have to wait. They didn't come to speak to us at all.All worked out for the best, as we went to the Town Hall Tea Rooms instead, which was excellent.
We love it here! They make the BEST bacon rolls and the staff are so friendly. Perfect place to come with the family
